St. Dominic Church Christmas Celebrations 2025

Christmas celebrations began with Christmas Carols at 6:30 pm followed by solemn Eucharistic celebration presided by Rev Fr Paul Melwyn D’souza OFM. After the mass, St. Dominic Association had organised auction, Lucky games, spot games and housie games. Also, the ICYM Ashoknagar Unit had successfully organized Inter-Ward Crib Competition as part of the Christmas celebrations. The cribs were designed based on the theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” beautifully reflecting the journey of faith, hope, and love associated with the birth of Jesus Christ. A total of 8 wards actively participated in the competition, showcasing thoughtfully crafted and meaningful Christmas cribs with great enthusiasm and devotion. The results were officially announced on 24th December 2025, after the Christmas Eve Holy Mass, in the presence of the parish community.

The winners of the competition were:

• 1st Place: Kottara B, St Lawrence Ward

• 2nd Place: Kodical A, Holy Cross Ward

• 3rd Place: Kodical B, Velankanni Ward
