Christmas Tree Programme - 2020 at St. Dominic Church, Ashoknager

St Dominic church, Ashoknagar organized ‘Christmas tree programme for all the kids and youth of the parish on 20th December 2020.

Over 300 children, youth volunteers and parishioners participated in the program.

The afternoon began with preparation for confessions by Fr. Aquin Noronha followed by confessions for all children and Holy Eucharist. The liturgy and singing was done by the parish children.

Soon after mass refreshments were served and all gathered in the main hall for the cultural event.

The program began with a prayer song by the parish children.

The cultural program consisted of dance performances based on the Christmas theme by the parish children of different groups and melodious carol singing by the parish choir and the Dominican brothers.

Various fun games were conducted by the ICYM members and prizes were distributed to the winners.

The b’day of Fr. Aquin , parish priest was also celebrated where he cut the cake and was felicitated by Fr. Royston Lobo, the assistant parish priest and the vice president Maxim Crasta.

Fr Aquin delivered the Christmas message.

Santa’s entry excited the kids and brought in the joyous mode of Christmas.

Parish council vice president Maxim Crasta delivered the vote of thanks.

Fr. Royston Lobo prayed the grace before food and a delicious meal was served to all.
