Holy Cross Ward celebrates Teacher’s Day & Mother’s Day
On Sunday 15th September the Holy Cross Ward members got together at the residence of Mr. Alwin Pinto for the small Christian community meeting. They also celebrated Teacher’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Mr. Alwyn Pinto welcomed everyone to the meeting and Mr. Roshan Dsouza spoke about the selfless service and love that Teacher’s and Mother’s provide and none of us can deny the fact that what we are today is because of them and their major role in our upbringing.
34 members were present for the celebration meeting. Cake was cut by the women and roses were offered to the teachers and mothers as a token of love and appreciation.
At the end, all prayed one decade of the Divine Mercy and sang the hymn venerating the cross of Jesus. All those whose birthdays were in September were wished by singing the happy birthday song.
