LADIES SOCIAL SERVICE LEAGUE NEWS :

Women's Day Cebration, 07/03/2026

Women's day was celebrated in St. Dominic Church Ashoknagar by Ladies Social Service League on 7th March 2026 at St Dominic Church Silver Jubilee Hall. The celebration started with prayer song, followed by a brief stage program. The program was presided by our Parish Priest, Fr. Daniel Veigas. Also other esteemed Guests: Assistant Parish Priest Priest Fr. Meckenzie Mendonsa, Resource Person of the day, Fr. Victor D'Souza, Parish Pastoral Council Vice president Mr. Isaac Furtado, Secretary Meera Mendonsa, 21 Commissions Co- ordinator Flavy Mendonsa, and LSSL President Mrs. Lavina Crasta and Secretary Mrs. Euginia Pinto were present on the dais. LSSL President Lavina Crasta welcomed the gathering. Treasurer Precilla Fernandes introduced the Resource Person Fr. Victor D'Souza, who later gave a beautiful talk on "Ageing Gracefully and Stress Management," followed by interaction with participants. Secretary of LSSL delivered the vote of thanks. Around 175 women of the Parish participated enthusiastically in this celebration.
