Lockdown Assistance From St. Dominic Church Ashoknagar

Wishing you and all at home a very happy, holy and blessed Easter.

The lockdown effect is taking a toll on us and many more families are getting affected due to loss of income & business.

This week the parish finance committee went ahead and spoke to people who we felt could benefit from the supply of grocery and ease them out during these tough times.

Personal calls were made and the most heartening thing we found was though these families were in need, they were concerned about their other needy brethren.

So far we have reached out to 156 families of our parish in terms of groceries & medicine out of which 47 are non Christians.

It gives me much comfort that none of our families in St. Dominic parish went hungry for want of food especially as we celebrate Easter today.

I request you all to pray for all our donors ( Parishioners from oversees & here) who have generously given their best in cash and kind.

Though we are a small parish, we have been able to reach out to so many needy people. I thank the Lord for each of you for your cooperation and help.

Any of you would like to donate, plz do so. Our God has been generous to us and I believe He will continue to bless us so that none are in need of anything during these difficult times.
