Sacred Heart Ward (St Dominic B) Feast, 06/07/2025
Sacred Heart Ward celebrated their feast on July 6th 2025 with the solemn Eucharistic celebration at 8 am. Fr Meckenzie Mendonsa OP, the Assistant Parish Priest was the main celebrant. In the evening at 6 pm, the ward members had festal fellowship celebrations at St Dominic Church Golden Jubilee Hall. Rev Fr Daniel Veigas OP, the Parish Priest thanked the ward members for their unity and contribution towards the parish, and encouraged them to continue their generous involvements in the future with the inspiration of Sacred Heart of Jesus. Other Chief Guests present on the dais were Fr Meckenzie Mendonsa, Assisstant Parish Priest, Mr Maxim Crasta, the Vice President, Mrs Deborah Locker, the Secretary, Meera Mendonca, the Cordiantor of 21 Commissions and Mr Richard D’Souza, the Ward Gurkar. The program consisted of several games and variety entertainment programs. The ward members felicitated Ward Gurkar Mr Richard D’Souza. Also, children who excelled in the last academic year were honoured by the Ward. This fellowship ended with community meal.
