The Inauguration of the Year of Postulancy 2019-2020

The year of Postulancy was inaugurated on Sunday, 7th July 2019 during 6.30 am English mass. The Vocation Promoter for south of India Rev. Fr. Sunil Lobo was the main celebrant, and also broke the Word of God. The symbolic gesture of lighting the lamp was held. The Prior and Parish Priest of St. Dominic Church Rev. Fr. Aquin Noronha, the Vocation Promoter, Postulant Master Rev. Fr. Greyfon Rodrigues and two student candidates lighted the lamp.

The Priory of St. Dominic is blessed to have 15 new Postulants for the academic year 2019-2020. Brothers hail from different parts of the country like, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Andra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala. Out of fifteen brothers, four have completed their post graduation, four have completed their university studies, four have completed their pre university studies and three have completed their SSLC.

Three new postulants of St. Joseph of Tarbes were also introduced and welcomed during the Eucharistic celebration.
