Cyber Crime Awareness and Its Prevention, March 2, 2025

The Commission for Social Communication and the other Commissions of St. Dominic Church along with the Urwa Police Station had organised an awareness session, “Cyber Crimes and its Prevention” on 2/03/2025 at 9:30 am at Silver Jubilee Hall. Chief guests present were, Rev Fr Daniel Veigas, the Parish Priest, Fr Meckenzie Mendonsa, the Assistant Parish Priest, Bharati G., Inspector of Urwa Police Station, Gurappa Kanti, Sub-Inspector of Urwa Police Station and also the Resource Person of the day, Mr Maxim Crasta, the Vice President, Mrs Deborah Locker, the Secretary and Mrs Meera Mendonsa, the Co-ordinator of 21 Commissions. The Resource person Sub Inspector Gurappa Kanti gave a detailed explanation of various types of cyber-crimes and how we can prevent it. This program was attended by around 200 parishoners.
