Environment Day Celebration - 2024
Environment Day 1.0
St. Dominic Church Ashoknagar and Environment commission of the Church, celebrated environment day 1.0 on 07th July 2024. Fr. Dileep Veigas O.P. was the Chief Guest. This year the aim was to beautify the Church campus with flower plants and in this regard Church garden was prepared in advance. Members of Parish Finance Council, Ward Gurkars and Children had the opportunity to plant.
Environment Day 2.0
Catholic Sabha Unit and Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) took the initiative of celebrating Environment day 2.0 on 14th July 2024. Catholic Sabha arranged for plants and flower pots and donated to the Church.
Environment Cleanliness Drive
Catholic Sabha unit of St. Dominic Church, on the occasion of Feast of St. Dominic organised Environment cleanliness Drive from 22nd July to 25th July 2024. The area covered in it: St. Dominic Church Road to Ashoknagar Junction to Urwastores to Church campus. The initiative was supported by Mangalore City Corporation and area corporators Mrs. Jayalakshmi Shetty and Mr. Ganesh Kulal. Our sincere gratitude to them.
